Lieutenant Walter Borrowes, R.N. (22 September, 1892 – c. 4 January, 1915) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Baronet Major Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes of the North Staffordshire Regiment.
Borrowes was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 30 June, 1913.
Borrowes was appointed to the submarine C 31 on 14 January, 1914. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1914.
Borrowes died when C 31 was lost to an unknown cause off the Belgian coast in early January, 1915.
