Admiral Michael Pelham O'Callaghan, C.B., C.V.O., Royal Navy, Retired (15 December, 1850 – 9 June, 1937) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
O'Callaghan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1884.[1]
O'Callaghan was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1891.[2]
In recognition of his services in Benin he was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Third Class, or Companion, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (C.B.) on 25 May, 1897.[3]
O'Callaghan was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 16 June, 1904, vice Drury.[4]
O'Callaghan was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 30 June, 1908,[5] and to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 13 July, 1912.[6]
