Commissioned 7 April, 1926.[6]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 26 February, 1929 for service with the Fourth Cruiser Squadron in the East Indies.[7]

Alterations

In the early 1930s, Enterprise's 2 bow 6-in mountings were replaced by a double mounting.[25]
