Commander (retired) Harry Thring Bennett, D.S.O. (21 February, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Thring was in Canopus at the Battle of the Falkland Islands in 1914.

In 1918, he was posted to Bermuda to become Master Attendant and King's Harbour Master. After the war he took command of the Australian surveying ship Geranium.
