Lieutenant George Wilson, R.N. (11 November, 1849 – 29 February, 1932) served in the Royal Navy.

There was also a later George Wilson, who was born in 1885.

Life & Career

Wilson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 June, 1874.

WIlson retired at his own request on 10 September 1875. By 1895, he was a Commander in the Royal Indian Marine and assumed charge of the office of Assitant Director of the Royal Indian Marine on 15 November, 1895.

He eventually retired as a Captain in the R.I.M. in June, 1929 (or 1919).
