Commander (retired) George John Drumelzier Tweedy, R.N. (27 November, 1891 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Tweedy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1914.
Tweedy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 July, 1922.
Lent to the Royal Australian Navy for two years from 1 October, 1926. He was appointed in command of the submarine Otway from 15 June, 1927 to 2 October, 1928, when he reverted to Royal Navy service.
Tweedy was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Commander on 27 November, 1931.
