H.M.S. Stork was one of eleven Banterer class gunboats completed for the Royal Navy around 1880.

Service

Commissioned at Sheeness on 2 January, 1883 for service on the South-East Coast of America Station.[3]

Having recently been a surveying vessel, by 1913 she had been loaned to the Kensington Branch of the Navy League as a Training Vessel for Boys at Hammersmith.[4]
