Lieutenant-Commander Robert Fellowes Chisholm, R.N. (4 May, 1884 – 1 December, 1916) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Willesden, the son of R. F. Chisholm, Esq..
Chisholm was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1906.[1]
Chisholm was appointed Lieutenant & Commander of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 026 on 19 December, 1908.[2]
As a Lieutenant, Chisholm was appointed in command of the submarine B 3 on 13 May, 1913.[3]
Chisholm was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1914.
Chisholm left B 3 when he was appointed to E 37 on 16 October, 1915, to assume command upon her commissioning.
Chisholm died when his E 37 was lost on 1 December, 1916.[4]
