H.M.S. Kingfisher was one of nine Doterel Class composite screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
She was renamed H.M.S. Lark in 1892, and H.M.S. Cruizer in 1893.
Service
Commissioned at Sheerness on 11 November, 1884.[4]
Re-commissioned at Bombay on 8 April, 1888.[5]
