Captain Vincent Lewin Bowring (5 May, 1875 – 23 February, 1951) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bowring was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1896.[1]
Bowring was appointed in command of the destroyer Lightning on 30 May, 1903.[2]
Bowring was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1909.[3]
Bowring was appointed in command of the destroyer Violet on 14 August, 1913.[4]
Great War
He was appointed in command of the battleship Agincourt on 25 June, 1919.[5]
Bowring was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain on 5 May, 1921.[6]
