Admiral Arthur Hildebrand Alington, J.P., Royal Navy, Retired (10 October, 1839 – 7 December, 1925) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
On 1 May, 1895, Alington hoisted his flag in Empress of India at Devonport as Second-in-Command of the Channel Squadron.[1]
Alington was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1901,[2] and was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 16 June, 1904.[3]
