Osmond James Prentis ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Prentis was appointed in command of the destroyer Mallard on 20 February, 1913.^[1]

On 1 April, 1913, Prentis was appointed in command of the destroyer Garry.^[2]

On 20 November, 1913, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Wolverine.^[3]
