History

1915

The squadron was:[9]

November, 1915

Attached to Battle Cruiser Fleet. Liverpool has been temporarily attached to the Grand Fleet.[10]

Battle of Jutland

The cruisers now have a seaplane carrier attached.[11]

July, 1918

The Squadron is now:[12]

November, 1918

The Squadron has lost Yarmouth, which transferred to the Second Light Cruiser Squadron.[13]

In August 1919, the squadron was briefly under the flag of Centaur and then Cardiff.[14]

Drill and Practice

In 1917, the squadron fired 16 practice torpedoes of which 13 or 81% were judged to be likely to endanger the enemy.[15]
