H.M. T.B. 74 was one of 4 second-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 74 class.
Service
T.B. 74 sank at her mooring in the Portsmouth steam basin on 23 March, 1883, after a valve aboard was left open. There was not enough time after the flooding aboard was discovered to prevent her from sinking, and she went down by the bow. She was raised the following day.[4]
